The lack of support, the inability of family & friends to see you need support, the I-am-a-bad-mom-if-can't-do-it-all-by-myself and the 'women-birth-women-raise' mentality while men should be involved in the whole journey of pregnancy-childbirth-night-nappy-changes-toddler-tantrums as intensely as they were in the making process.
No lies, the way you feel as a mother affects everyone around you. So when I work with my moms (clients) I put my all heart into it because I have 1st hand experience how women's well-being as a mom can affect their kids and family life for the decades to come. Now as an adult I see it so clearly and science explains it too.
I just don't do what I do, my Why of doing my work lies so much deeper than you could think of at first glance.

Knowing that core is the stabilizing point for body, legs and arms. Engaging your core does not only protect your back from injuries, but also allows you to build your core with every single exercise in your workout and makes the target muscles work harder = faster, better results!
Something is better than nothing, but once you know this & understands this it’s an international crime to go back to spaghetti core in your hip thrusts, bridges, biceps curls and literally any exercise.

I have so much to say, but this one is for my pacer who also has been my running mate for long runs in past months. Kilometers pass faster when chatting & I would have never found the internal strength to complete my first 15+km running sessions if you didn't join them and weren't as chatty as you are!
We humans are strong even when standing alone, yet we are even stronger with the right support and encouragement💪
Dhabia, a mother of 2 under 3 with a fulltime job, cancelled 90% of her session with me between January & February, eventho she really wanted to get back to exercising.
The reason of all her last minute cancelations? Her calls started the same, "Sumayyah, I can't I am sorry, I need to spend time with my kids & husband, let's reschedule. I really want tho." Mum guilt + feeling that everything and everyone (kids, husband, work, parents, household, etc.) needs to be take care of before she can get in that workout she has been missing since her 1st pregnancy.
She was into fitness before getting married and knows how it not only improves her body, but more over works magic on her mood and makes her feeling more content and happy in life general.
Today, she has been consistently working out for 7 months & only rescheduled TWO sessions (one on her sister's wedding day & other on the day she moved houses), mashallah. Her body has changed from soft and squishy postpartum to tight shaped and strong being able to carry both her sons at the same time (~22kg) without any pain or exhaustion.
How she went from total mum guilt to 99% consistency ? Not a hack or a trending TikTok workout. Simple, few calls with me talking on mindset until she admitted how important it truly is to workout as a mother: to be able to go through the labors (especially pushing), to run after her kids without losing breath and be able to carry them with no back pain and admitting that workouts make her calmer, happier which in return makes her whole household calmer and happier.

The heavier weights I push my clients to pick up the more definition I and they see in their body.
When you are seeking to shape your body then in fitness science that means changing your body composition (more lean muscle, less fat), that means building strength, muscle, eating clean and eating a lot more than you are conditioned by society.
My clients have been shocked that by doing bench presses and chest flies ( on the photo) you can actually give a little lift (or a lot) to the breasts.
Or that working on back muscles, not only core, is what actually starts defining and sculpting the waist you desire.
Some trends are cool for fun & variety, yet most are garbage for your goals.
Don’t just do things. Learn the why behind every exercise and workout style and do those that align with your goal.

May Allah ta'ala reward them immensely for being comitted to consistently taking care of their physical body during this month of Ramadan next to all the extended prayers, duas & reading of the Quran.
In Islam consistency has its important place:
The Prophet (saw) said “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if it is small.” (Bukhari).
My personal reasons to workout in Ramandan is "...because I just feel better in my body, mind and health whem i workout."
