Abu Dhabi Rowing Club, at The Club

This rowing club is blessed with some impressively flat water . . . (And nice sunsets) 😄

We've had a bumpy start with quite a lot of mystery damage to boats that has kept a large portion of our equipment high and dry when it should be stretching its legs on the water.

This week-end, we should have both 4x back on the water. At the end of this month, we'll finally have both 2x and all of our 1x back in play again. Perfect timing as well - race season has begun. Lots of championship series as well as beach sprints and indoor championships at play (who doesn't love a 2000m erg at full pace??)

We are blessed with some pretty nice water for morning sessions. Weekdays or weekends - whatever your preference - hopping into a boat and literally rowing into the sunrise is a great way to start your day. Rowing at The Club Abu Dhabi

It's getting hot out here!! As rowing slows for the summer, it won't completely stop. You'll still see some of us plugging away on the water in the mornings. It's hot, it's muggy and it's still beautiful out there. Many thanks to our outgoing chairman, Nick Fisher (you will be missed tremendously) and many congratulations to our incoming chairman, Andy Mowat (Let the fun begin!!). Next season already looks full of promise with new regattas, new members and new experiences. Row on everyone. The Club Abu Dhabi is our home - and the sea is our backyard. Time to play . . .
