This is a great drill to work on ball handling & finishing with both hands.
If you have cones/markers, place one at the top of the key, another at the elbow, & a third in the middle of the paint. These will act as defenders.
Start behind the first cone. With balls in both hands, dribble the ball in your right hand once toward the 2nd cone. Perform a crossover while simultaneously switching the held ball over to the now empty right hand. Continue with a left-handed dribble, performing the same 2-ball crossover once arriving at the 3rd cone.
When the ball returns to your hand from the 2nd crossover, pound both balls at the same time before finishing with a reverse layup using your inside (right) hand. Carrying a second ball ensures you’re finishing with a single hand.
After repping it out until comfortable, work on the opposite side, dribbling first to the left cone/marker & finishing with a left-handed reverse layup.
If you’re not yet comfortable with reverse layups, you can modify by finishing with regular layups!
