Who are RoughNeckers...???
Journey of backyard cricket gang to a fledged Cricket club.!!

This Club is not as a result of any Cricket legends or professional player visionary.
We started off a year ago in a small backyard(kachha) in Shabia 11, Mussafah with a single broken bat and ball and no other kit or accessories. Just to entertain ourselves and to have fun time with our limited friends circle of 10 heads. No proper pitch, no proper ground to play but still we continued to play. Weeks later we realized the head count is increasing and the game is getting serious.
One day we moved to shabia 12 for a proper ground and that was our turning point. We met more friends, more players, we met people whom we never met before and they joined with us and that continue to help us launch a fledged cricket club as we are now.
Now the club have a total head count of more than 50+ members from different sectors and three different countries
In this journey we can’t omit to thank 3 of our seniors Antony Jacob Savad Ahmed Mujeeb Rahim who supported us, motivated us, still pushing us to bring best out of us.
And this is how RoughNeckers happened.
