Very happy to have taken the win for the monthly league comp.
3 best rounds of the month out of 4 in November for a net score of -12 under par for the 3 rounds.

I’ve been missing a lot recently, despite playing 3 times a week I haven’t been filming or taking photos of my journey, I decided I wanted to get back to just playing for a bit as my game had fallen apart slightly. I was striking the ball so inconsistently and I needed to work out why. I played again yesterday and managed to score a decent round over 9 holes par 3. So I will be back on my journey aiming to get my handicap of scratch. I have submitted my application to via today and will be submitting my rounds as quickly as possible.

Played 18 holes yesterday, for the first time. It’s a great course in excellent condition. The greens are true and fast. It’s a very forgiving course, with wide fairways and not a whole lot of trouble really coming into play. That didn’t stop me from finding it though! With a very shaky front 9 at 9 over and a much better back 9 in 3 over, making the round 12 over in total. I’m pretty happy with that to be honest considering the last 2 holes were played in complete darkness as well. That’s an experience. I would definitely recommend this course as the condition is excellent.
Getting the lessons in with golf ready to smash the winter league! Using resistance training bands and working on tempo on the back swing to improve rhythm.

Great open day at for where there were lots of cool announcements for the next year. So proud to be a part of such an amazing golf society here in Dubai. I’ll be booking in with their academy coach and he will be helping me on my goal of getting to scratch! Great atmosphere today and great fun too. Thanks
Another solid round at this is the second hole. I played well on the first 5 holes and stayed at level par... Made some silly mistakes and paid for it. This hole I duffed a tee shot but managed an up and down for par. Birdies the first but didn’t take a video as there was only 2 rounds left until winners are announced and I wanted to play well.

Back at again tonight for the penultimate round of the summer league, trying to take home that first place trophy... I need 2 good rounds to do it I think. There’s som solid golf having been played by the society members so it’s going to be close. Best 10 rounds of the summer wins it. I think as it stands I could miss out by a couple of shots.
Working on that short game, chip over a bunker with very little green to work with.
This is the 9th hole on at academy course par 3, 125 yards to the pin. I hadn’t been hitting my gap wedge very well so I decided to play a knock down pitching wedge with a 3 quarters swing. Made the green but the ball didn’t release and checked up and left me with 20 feet to the hole. 2 putts for par. I am determined to work on my game from 150 yards and in as I feel this is where I lose all my shots so back to the practice ground for me.

Currently sitting at the top of the league with 2 rounds to play before the winners are announced. Currently only top due to having played the most rounds. Once the best 10 rounds are taken for everyone, the positions are anyones guess. If I can play 2 rounds under my handicap then I shall be in with a chance. Best get some practice in.
