Almost all parents of the kids I train see fast progress of their kids swimming skills and confidence within few few days….but not mostly because I am the best coach ( of course am one of the best 😜) out there but because experience and time has taught me that every one - both adults and kids- have different way of learning- different pace.
If you find yourself or your child taking abit more time to learn compared to others, it’s normal and nothing wrong with it- it’s not a straightforward manual - we are different and it’s ok! - we learn at different speed or pace and it’s ok.
But most important part is understanding each o person how and their way.💙

Why Should Adults In Learn How To Swim?
Learning to swim🏊🏽 in Dubai is a life saving skill but it’s more than that. Swimming is great for your social life and your fitness levels too.
You may be willing to learn swimming but the fear of water maybe holding you back, but with the help of a qualified coach, you can overcome this fear. The main problem might be the feeling of being ‘left alone’ in water and not necessarily a fear of the water itself.
Embarrassed that you can’t swim as an adult is another reason. Being embarrassed isn’t a nice feeling which is why many adults simply don’t discuss the fact that they can’t swim. Or they simply avoid situations where the topic or activity might arise (going to the pool or beach for example)
But, there really is nothing to be embarrassed about. I personally can’t play tennis, though am taking lessons now 😃 so let nothing stand on our way of learning new skills in life.

Swimming 🏊♀️🏊programs designed to fit all ages, levels and abilities, such as learn to swim, stroke development, as well as competitive swimming.
Please note that below 4 yrs, kids learn about water safety & confidence as well as bits of swimming. Sessions include floating, breathing & kicking to help them gain a better feel for the water. These are the fundamental movements which will be used throughout the swimming program.
Once the swimmer has the basic fundamentals they will progress through the levels as their skills develop.
Swimming Stages/Levels.
Stage/Level 1 - Swimming Fundamentals
Junior- Classes are fun-orientated and aims to build water confidence. Example of movements are floating, kicking, introduction of breathing skill, feel for the water, and rotation.
Teens - Swimming lessons will introduce skills as building blocks for all swimming strokes. Back body position and front crawl will also be developed.
Adults - Swimming lessons develop water confidence and balance to start learning the front crawl with breathing. The skills include floating, gliding, sculling, and kicking on the back and front.
Stage/Level 2 - Swimming Skills
Junior- This stage enhances the swimming exercise skills leant in stage 1 while introducing new ones. This is the most important stage in all swimming programs because it aims to learn front crawl and backstroke techniques. By the end of these swimming classes, swimmers should have learned how to balance themselves in the water, rotate and engage in bilateral breathing. Breaststroke kick is introduced towards the end of this stage.
Teens - Swimming lessons will develop the skills to perfect an efficient stroke in both front and back.
Adults - Swimming lessons will further develop your swimming skills on both your front and back. The abilities developed also include; submersion, jumping, and treading water.
Stage/Level 3 - Swimming Techniques
Junior- This swimming stage is to advance in the techniques of all four strokes; the butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and front crawl strokes. At this level, swimmers will also learn competitive fundamentals, including starts, turns, and finishes.
This level is also suitable for any teen swimmer who wants to keep swimming but does not want to compete.
Adults - These swimming lessons will polish your strokes to smoother, more efficient swimming.
If you want to tone up, shed some weight and lifting weights is not your thing, or gym environment makes you “not so comfortable” or just have your reasons, maybe aqua aerobics classes would be a good option, and has more benefits than you may think:
1.Burns calories- Aqua aerobics is a mix of strength and cardio workouts which is done in the face of water resistance. This ensures the body gets a full workout.
2.Increases muscle strength - Because water flows in multiple directions, the resistance in the pool can range from four to 42 times greater than air. Therefore, the muscles get a rigid workout. According to a 2007 study, 12 weeks of regular aqua aerobics exercise gives you significant gains in strength, flexibility and agility.
3.Builds endurance - Water offers a natural resistance, unlike weights which require the body to pull and push against the weight plus gravity.
4.Reduces joint pressure - Aqua aerobics relieve pressure placed on joints from normal wear and tear and arthritis. Hydrotherapy is recommended by doctors to those suffering from joint problems.
5.Increases flexibility - Aqua aerobics requires movements in various directions while adjusting to the push and pull of water, hence the joints increase their range of motion. In the process, the body becomes more flexible.
