Impressive achievements for R1SE Motorsport in the second weekend of the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East!
Despite a crash during free practice, our driver, Sebastian Gorga, exploited the first qualifying session, getting the pole position by a second and a half from all other participants in the Am class! Race 1 was a triumph in his category, translating to an impressive P13 in the overall standings.
In the second qualifying session we secured the second position in the Am class, narrowly missing Leo Willert's pole position by only 2 hundredths of a second. In the race, Gorga demonstrated an unbeatable pace for the competitors, crossing the finish line with an incredible 40-second lead over Willert, securing another outstanding victory in his category and an esteemed P12 overall!
After two thrilling weekends in Bahrain, during which we are extremely proud of our efforts, the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East will move to Dubai in January for the third event of the season. We look forward to continuing this extraordinary journey and sharing more on-track triumphs with you!
