WORLD NO TO***CO DAY 🌍🚭

Team Aeolian Racing stands strong against to***co! The Middle East is currently facing a smoking epidemic, with rising rates of to***co use, particularly among youth. This alarming trend poses significant health risks and strains public health systems. Let's accelerate towards a healthier, smoke-free future by raising awareness and advocating for stronger anti-to***co measures. Together, we can make a difference.

We initially got interested the project in 2018 and thus ended up joining the first year of the JSS International school f1 in schools club program, forming the falcon 9 racing team, we eventually in the same year joined forces with another team from the club to form team delta drive. However much of this project never saw the light of day due to our lack of funding and sponsorships.

The first year was an overall positive learning experience but due to our age at the time and lack of understanding over the fundamentals of aerodynamics and the manufacturing process in regards to the car we struggled especially in our first hand at f1 in schools.

In the second year we merged with team hawk from our schools own club to form team delta drive, three new members joined our team and we had a much better balance in terms of graphic design, marketing and engineering, and we had great progress in regards to understanding and making the cars. However, our team still faced great difficulty in getting sponsors during the financial situation of Dubai at the time.

During covid our team could took a hiatus and a lot of our team members left due to losing interest after our first two years of this event. However we were back in 2022, stronger than ever, with a newfound passion and desire to win the event. We brought in 4 new members with expertise in the fields of graphic design, marketing and manufacturing from our earlier weaknesses.

In the 2023 Yas in Schools national finals, Team Aeolian measured up to the expectations and rose above and beyond by having runner up fastest car and runner up best engineering portfolio along with bagging the best verbal presentation award and becoming National Champions with the highest score in a national finals over the past 7 years.

After this long journey of ups and down we are now ready to compete for the top spot at the 2024 F1 in Schools world finals, Help support our journey by following our journey through the largest STEM competition in the world.
