Creativity is an integral aspect of the Self and is innate to all human beings. We think of it as a quality that is available to some and not others, and that is the furthest from the truth…however trauma and parts carrying burdens can cloud this aspect of Self, making us feel stuck and uninspired….getting to know our parts with compassion and curiosity often results in us spontaneously establishing a connection with our creativity…

What does creativity mean to you? Let me know in the comments…

Sometimes we can be black and white when thinking about creativity…it’s either that you are creative or not. Yet creativity is an inherent feature of the human essence, inherent in all of us. Especially the ability to create solutions for issues we face in our lives. Recovery in some sense is our way back to that creative aspect of ourselves…which knows what “we need” to be better and happier in our own unique lives.

Clarity is rare when growing up with trauma. And an unending well of clarity lies within each and every one of us…working on ourselves means touching on this hidden aspect, and discovering that there was a decisive, compassionate you, all along!!!

Did you have a moment of clarity about something important in your life? Let me know in the comments, how you felt at that point?

Fear often shrouds our clarity, whether it’s fear of the external world or the vulnerability within. To connect with our innate clarity, we must acknowledge the fear that guards it. Shedding layers of people-pleasing, fawning, anger, and avoidance leads us to authenticity in clarity—knowing who we are, where we come from, and where we want to go.

Clear-eyed, clear-headed, and with a clear conscience, clarity eludes us in the face of life’s complexities. Self-reflection, though occasionally painful, unveils both external realities and the truth of who we are. Navigating growth and tending to wounded parts, clarity transforms into a precious gift—an anchor of groundedness, a blessing of true perception, and a profound understanding of life’s extraordinary nature. In this revelation, we recognize our worthiness not through achievement but by the simple fact that life was granted to us.

The self ultimately grasps the truth of human existence – that without each other, we cease to exist. ‘Each other’ refers to all living beings on this Earth and beyond. The self comprehends that just as we have a universe outside of us, we also have a world inside. It understands that every action triggers a reaction, and all these moving pieces, unique yet connected, are bound by the thread of life and existence itself.

Which one is true for you, let me know in the comments!
1. I am connected to my self and the world?
2. I am disconnected from myself and the world?

Overcoming loneliness starts with connecting. It’s an internal antidote, woven into every aspect of life, shielding us from solitude. Even in tough situations, like a disliked job, foster connections. Delve into the intricacies of the mind, form communities, embody values like kindness. Connectedness ties us to ideas, values, and interests, recognizing our shared humanity. It propels us toward mastery and anchors us in the present moment. Embrace connectedness to feel alive and tied to everything that lives. 💫🌍
