في يوم المرأة الإماراتية، تحتفي جمعية المهندسين – الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالمرأة الإماراتية، وتعتز بما حققته من حضورٍ ملهم وإنجازاتٍ رائدة في مختلف مجالات العمل والعطاء.

وفي القطاع الهندسي على وجه الخصوص، أثبتت المرأة الإماراتية كفاءتها وقدرتها على الابتكار والقيادة والمساهمة الفاعلة في مسيرة التنمية المستدامة، لتكون شريكاً أساسياً في بناء حاضر دولة الإمارات وصناعة مستقبلها.

Open Call for SOE-UAE Members | Free AI Training Program in the People's Republic of China

The Society of Engineers – UAE, in collaboration with the Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE), invites its members to apply for Session 12 – Artificial Intelligence, under the 2026 Engineering Capacity Building Program for Engineers.

The program will explore frontier AI technologies, engineering practices and industrial applications through technical reports, corporate visits, round-table forums and practical industry applications, with a focus on areas including network optimization, large-model applications and ethical compliance.

• Theme: Empowering Partnerships with AI, Achieving Prosperity Through Smart Synergy
• Date: 18–23 October 2026 (including arrival & departure)
• Location: Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China
• Airport: NKG
• Organizer: Zhongxing Telecommunications
• Registration: Open

- Free for Admitted Participants -

The host organization will cover:
✅ Training fees
✅ Accommodation
✅ 3 meals per day
✅ Local transportation for official activities
✅ Airport transfers within China

Participants/employers are responsible for:
• Round-trip international airfare
• Visa fees, if applicable
• International travel insurance
• Personal expenses/additional services

- Eligibility -

Applicants must:
• Hold an active SOE-UAE membership
• Work in engineering/technical disciplines, AI, data or digital transformation
• Have at least 5 years of professional engineering experience
• Be proficient in English
• Attend the full program from 18–23 October
• Cover airfare, visa, travel insurance & personal expenses

International/cross-regional engineering experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

⁨ اختتم وفد جمعية المهندسين – الإمارات مشاركته في أعمال الكونغرس العالمي للمعماريين 2026 والاجتماعات الرسمية المصاحبة له، والتي عُقدت في مدينة برشلونة – مملكة إسبانيا، خلال الفترة من 28 يونيو إلى 5 يوليو 2026، بمشاركة نخبة من المعماريين وصناع القرار وممثلي الهيئات المهنية من مختلف أنحاء العالم، لمناقشة مستقبل العمارة والتنمية الحضرية المستدامة.

وترأس وفد الامارات المهندس عبدالله يوسف آل علي، رئيس جمعية المهندسين – الإمارات العربية المتحدة، حيث شارك في أعمال الجمعية العمومية للاتحاد العالمي للمعماريين (UIA)، إلى جانب سلسلة من الاجتماعات والفعاليات الرسمية التي هدفت إلى تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتبادل الخبرات بين المؤسسات المهنية المعمارية والهندسية.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص جمعية المهندسين – الإمارات على تعزيز حضورها الفاعل في المحافل المهنية الدولية، وترسيخ مكانة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة كشريك مؤثر في دعم مسيرة العمارة والهندسة على المستوى العالمي، من خلال توطيد العلاقات مع المؤسسات المهنية الدولية، وتبادل الخبرات، والإسهام في مناقشة القضايا والتوجهات المستقبلية التي تسهم في تطوير البيئة العمرانية المستدامة.

كما تعكس هذه المشاركة التزام الجمعية بدعم رؤية دولة الإمارات في تعزيز التعاون الدولي، وترسيخ مكانة دبي كمركز عالمي للابتكار والتميز في مجالات العمارة والهندسة، بما يسهم في تحقيق تطلعاتها المستقبلية على الساحة الدولية.

The delegation of the Society of Engineers – UAE has concluded its participation in the 2026 UIA World Congress of Architects and official meetings in Barcelona. The congress brought together architects, industry leaders, and representatives of professional organizations from around the world to discuss the future of architecture, innovation, and sustainable development.

Led by Eng. Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, President of the Society of Engineers – UAE, the delegation participated in the General Assembly of the International Union of Architects (UIA) and a series of meetings focused on strengthening international cooperation, building strategic partnerships, and exchanging professional expertise.

The participation reflects the Society’s commitment to maintaining an active presence in international forums, supporting global collaboration, and reinforcing the UAE’s role in advancing innovation, sustainability, and excellence in Engineering⁩

شاركت الدكتورة نهلة أحمد القاسمي، نائب رئيس جمعية المهندسين – الإمارات وعضو المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الدولي للمنظمات الهندسية WFEO، في منتدى الأمم المتحدة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار 2026، الذي عُقد في مقر الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن جهود الجمعية لدعم الحضور الإماراتي في الحوار العالمي حول دور الهندسة والعلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، وتعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجالات البنية التحتية المستدامة، الذكاء الاصطناعي، بناء القدرات، والابتكار.

The Society of Engineers-UAE continues to strengthen its international presence across global platforms dedicated to the future of engineering and sustainable development.

Dr. Nahla Ahmed Al Qassimi, Vice President of the Society of Engineers – UAE and WFEO Executive Council Member, participated in the United Nations STI Forum 2026, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

This participation reflects the Society’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s presence in global dialogue on the role of engineering, science, technology, and innovation in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Society also values the role of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, WFEO, in promoting international engineering cooperation and strengthening the contribution of engineers in addressing future global challenges.
