In reply, Jebel Ali Mammoths chased down the target in 23.4 overs. After a steady start from Sethuraman Ramakrishnan (32), it was Alan Ninan Thomas (48)* who played a match-winning knock under pressure π₯

Jebel Ali Mammoths Clinch Maiden League of Mammoths Title with Dominant Win!
The 26th edition of the League of Mammoths culminated in a thrilling grand finale, where Jebel Ali Mammoths scripted history by securing their first-ever championship with a commanding 86-run victory over Shindhga Mammoths.
Jebel Ali Mammoths Set a Strong Foundation
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Jebel Ali Mammoths posted an imposing 227/8 in 25 overs. The innings was anchored by a magnificent century from Karthik Subramanian showcasing class and resilience. He was well-supported by Ctk Mashood and Aditya Kaushik (34 off 33 balls), who played crucial cameos to keep the scoreboard ticking.
Despite some strong bowling efforts from Gurdip Singh Virdi (5/40 in 5 overs), who rattled the middle order with a five-wicket haul, Jebel Aliβs batting depth ensured they put up a challenging total.
Shindhga Mammoths Struggle to Chase
In response, Shindhga Mammoths faltered early, losing their captain Yasser Khawaja for just 1 run. The batting lineup found it difficult to keep pace with the required rate, with only Gurdip Singh Virdi (33 off 24 balls) and Aditya Kaushik (34 off 33 balls) putting up resistance.
Jebel Aliβs bowling attack was relentless, led by Ctk Mashood (2/11 in 3 overs), Omar Siddiqui (2/21 in 4 overs), and Mahesh Padmanabhan (2/32 in 4 overs). Their disciplined effort restricted Shindhga Mammoths to 141/9 in 25 overs, sealing an emphatic 86-run victory.

Dubai Mammoths Cricket Club-Sindhi Cricket Club Embark on 10th UK Tour
Dubai Mammoths Cricket Club and Sindhi Cricket Club are gearing up for their much-anticipated 10th UK Tour, set to commence from the 25th of this month. This milestone tour will witness the participation of two formidable teams: Dubai Mammoths and DXB Mammoths.
Based in Leicester, both teams are scheduled to showcase their cricket prowess across various cities in the UK, including Leicester, Manchester, the outskirts of London, Loughborough, and Nottingham. The tour itinerary comprises a series of exhilarating matches, encompassing six games against local teams and two internal matches between the two Mammoths squads.
Highlighting the significance of this special milestone, a notable event will take place at the prestigious Leicestershire Cricket Stadium, where the two teams will face off against each other in a riveting encounter.
The Dubai Mammoths squad, led by Captain Ravish Malik, boasts a talented lineup including Shiva G Pagarani, Ranjeet Chavan, Satish Sajnani, Mahesh Shetty, Ridge Menzises, Chetan Rane, Yasser Khawaka, Sameer Thakran, Ramandeep Sharma, Mustafa Nalwala, and Safdar Badami.
On the other hand, the DXB Mammoths, under the captaincy of Sanjay Pathak, feature a formidable roster comprising Deepak Odhrani, Kunal Jain, Lucky Abbas, Azim Behsania, Mahesh Nambiar, Piyush Jhunjunwala, Benoy Corian, Lenoy Corian, Anand Ramaswami, and Rejee Mohan.

In a thrilling showdown that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Karama Kings emerged victorious for the 5th time, etching their name in the annals of cricketing history. Facing off against the formidable Hamariya Hurricanes in the finals of the 7th Edition of DXB Ramadan Cricket League, the Kings demonstrated their mettle and resilience to claim the championship title.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Karama Kings made the right decision as they set a challenging target for their opponents. Ramandeepβs steady 25 runs from 26 balls, along with Sujitβs impressive 64 from 45 deliveries and Prabathβs solid 58 from 42 deliveries, were the standout performances for the Kings. Their partnership of over 100 runs laid the foundation for Karama Kings to post a respectable total of 168 runs on the scoreboard.
In response, the Hurricanes got off to a flying start, with Captain Ranjeet Chavan leading from the front with a quickfire 32 off 38 balls. However, just as the Hurricanes seemed poised for victory, Mahesh and Anant from the Kings turned the tide with their exceptional bowling, each claiming 3 crucial wickets. Despite a valiant effort from the Hurricanes, who kept losing wickets at regular intervals, they fell short by a mere 4 runs, handing the title to the Karama Kings in a thrilling finale.
Mahesh Nambiar of Karama Kings was hailed as the Man of the Final for his match-winning performance, while Prajakat Chouhan of Barsha Bangers was awarded the Best Batsman and Player of the Tournament. Hari Prashant of Hamariya Hurricanes received accolades for his outstanding contribution to the league.

The clash between NAS Mammoths and Jabel Ali Mammoths at the Sevens Rugby Club Cricket Grounds lived up to its billing, delivering a spectacle of cricketing excellence. With resolute determination and stellar performances, NAS stamped their authority on the game, sealing their place in history as the champions of the prestigious tournament.
