Dubai’s Popular Al Marmoom Dune Run – 2026 Race Routes Announced!

The 10KM and 5KM routes will start and finish at the Al Qudra Yoga Centre in the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.

Runners will tackle varied desert terrain, pass scenic lakes and conquer rolling dunes with the chance to spot local wildlife along the way.

Hydration stations, ambulances and course marshals will be positioned at key points to ensure runner safety.

to when I ran 270 km through endless sand dunes and dusty desert roads In Dubai.
I dropped about 4kgs below my normal weight during this race as the desert heat ☀️and constant sweating 🔥really took it out of me, I also lost 9 of my 10 toenails🫣.

One of the most vivid memories I have was running through the desert at sunset☀️ as the sky turned a thousand different shades of red and orange, casting a patchwork of shadows across the dunes like cresting waves on an endless ocean.
