New Website Alert! ✨

We women often wear many hats — and today, I’m excited to lift one and reveal a side of me that brings me deep joy: my art.

I’ve just launched my website showcasing my paintings. FINALLY — bold, expressive, and full of soul. This passion has lived quietly beside my career and coaching work, and now it finally has its own home.

Take a peek, and if it moves you, I’d love to hear what you feel when you see it. 💫

THE SUBSTANCE | Official Trailer | In Theaters & On MUBI Now 09/02/2025

Watching ' Substance'...Aside from the awards, nominations, and Demi Moore's powerful performance. The film, though visually extreme, left me reflecting on its deep narrative about the still prevalent "expiration date" placed on women—an idea shaped by societal expectations but often reinforced by us women, both consciously and unconsciously.

The film exposed how deeply these narratives are embedded in us. Many of us unknowingly carry the silent pressures of how we are expected to look, act, and live.

What struck me most was how much our attitudes and actions are influenced by perceptions of aging, beauty, and worth. It's as if the world holds up a mirror, showing us who we are expected to be, and we unconsciously allow those expectations to shape our identity.

💡This led me to question: How much of who we are today is driven by how we want to be perceived, rather than by who we truly are? How much of this influence is unconscious, tipping us towards societal dictation and further away from our essence?

Just like a regular medical check-up in our ripe, progressed, and beautiful age, it's worth periodically doing a "self-check-in." Are we veering away from our true selves, and if so, what are the influences causing that shift?

Do Your Actions Guarantee Respect? Think Again.

If you believe that your actions automatically earn you respect, think again. Respect is not something you can control—it’s a gift others choose to give, and only if they wish to.

Instead of chasing respect, focus your energy on showing up in alignment with who you are:
1️⃣ Honor your values
2️⃣ Uphold your beliefs
3️⃣ Stay true to your principles

Do the right thing because it matters to you, not because you expect others to applaud you. Respect is their choice, not your responsibility.

A perfect example is Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. He defends Tom Robinson, a Black man falsely accused of a crime, even though he faces backlash from his community. Despite his integrity and moral courage, he doesn’t earn the respect of everyone. Yet, he remains steadfast in his commitment to justice and his values.

The lesson?
Show up with integrity and let go of the need for validation. Whether others respect you or not, it’s their decision—not your problem.

Are You Easily Triggered?

If yes, GOOD. That means you’re aware—but here’s the catch: being easily triggered also means you’re easily manipulated. So, listen up!

It’s all about self-regulation.
When someone says or does something hurtful or uncomfortable, the key is not to react but to respond.

Here’s how:
1️⃣ Pause
2️⃣ Think
3️⃣ Process
4️⃣ Own your response—not theirs.

A great example of self-regulation comes from Succession:
Kendall Roy, after being set up as the scapegoat by his father, Logan Roy, listens to his father’s harsh dismissal. Instead of reacting emotionally, Kendall processes the betrayal, regulates his response, and later delivers a calculated press conference that flips the blame back onto Logan.

Self-regulation = Power.
It’s not about suppressing emotions—it’s about mastering them.

Who Holds the Power in a Conversation?

Recently, a friend shared a story about meeting someone for a business opportunity. After her looong narration, I asked, "So, what do you know about them?" She paused and said, "Well, not much." POW!

Here’s the truth: If you’re doing all the talking and not listening, who has the power? They do. Why? Because they’re in the position to analyze you, while you’re left with nothing to assess about them.

Now, I’m not saying you should stay silent in interactions, but balance is key. Get curious. Listen more. Pay attention to their mannerisms, values, and beliefs. This isn’t just about politeness—it’s about keeping your power. Listening gives you the ability to assess whether you’re aligned with the other person or not.

Keep your power—don’t give it away by failing to listen. 🎯
