Feeling bloated can be frustrating and annoying because it can happen so randomly but there’s usually a reason behind it.

Small things throughout your week can quietly add up like extra salty foods, alcohol, foods you’re sensitive to, poor digestion, stress, or even where you are in your cycle.

Before assuming you’ve “gained weight,” zoom out and look at the bigger picture. Your body doesn’t suddenly change overnight.

Not every increase is body fat. Sometimes your body is simply holding onto water.

If you want to reduce bloating, focus on eating less processed foods and prioritize whole foods and healthier habits🙌🏽

Nice little trip to the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum!

What a blessing it was to get to see some real fossils of Dinosaurs! Not something we have the privilege of seeing in South Africa

And as a kid my dream job was to be a Paleontologist!

They have a T-Rex skeleton here that is one of the most complete specimens ever discovered🤩

So I totally nerded out while we were there lol.

It’s so important for mental health to take the time to do things that bring you joy outside of the gym.

Health isn’t just training and eating healthy food.

It’s finding joy in the small things that boost your mood and help you feel alive!

Ever got yourself into amazing shape?

Inge was active
Running regularly
Following YouTube strength workouts consistently.

But her body wasn’t reflecting all of her effort.

Her days looked like this:

Up early
Straight into mom life and work

No breakfast fasting until midday
First meal at midday depending on what was available

She was lacking structure with her food during her day at the office

Weekends were social runs or gatherings, eating out and no real structure to fall back on.

And this is where most people get confused 🤔

Because from the outside
it looks like you’re doing a lot right

You’re active
You’re training
You’re making “healthy” choices

But without structure
your results stay inconsistent

We simplified everything

👉🏼Built structure into her day
👉🏼Gave her anchor meals she could rely on
👉🏼Adjusted her training so it actually progressed
👉🏼Made it work around her schedule as a mom

Now?

She feels in control of her routine
Her energy is more stable throughout the day
And her physique is finally reflecting the effort she’s been putting in

If your routine looks like this…
busy days, inconsistent eating, training hard but not seeing change

That’s exactly what needs fixing

Message me “STRUCTURE” and let’s sort it out💃🏻

Structure Isn’t Restriction

Most people say they want structure
but the second it feels too planned
they pull back

Because they think it means
no flexibility
no freedom
having to be perfect all the time

But what they don’t realise is

When you don’t have structure
you end up thinking about food all day
pushing meals back
then trying to figure it out when you’re already tired

That’s where things start to slip

Structure isn’t there to control you
it’s there to take pressure off

So when your day gets busy
you’re not starting from scratch every time

You’ve got something to fall back on
instead of relying on willpower

And that’s what actually makes this work long term

You’re going to the gym 4–5 times a week…
so of course it’s frustrating when your body still looks the same.

You’re showing up and you’re trying.

But deep down it’s what am I missing?

Most of the time it’s not the effort.
It’s that your effort isn’t actually moving anything forward.

You’re doing the workouts but not progressing.
Eating “healthy” but not with structure and kinda winging it.

The weekends throw everything off.

So it ends up feeling like you’re constantly starting over.

And that’s exhausting.

Don’t do more.
Rather tighten up the small things that actually make a difference.

Because once you do
your body does start to change.

If this feels a bit too familiar
message me “RESET” and I’ll help you if you’re serious about real lasting change.

Undereating feels productive because it looks like discipline.
But most of the time, it’s just fear dressed up as control.

Fear of eating more.
Fear of slowing down.
Fear of committing to a process that actually requires consistency, patience, and trust.

So instead, the brain gets busy making excuses…
Tweaking, cutting and delaying everything.
Anything except doing the boring, uncomfortable, effective thing.

And here’s what changes everything:

Progress comes from eating enough, training properly, and repeating that long enough for your body to respond to that.

Are you someone who can commit to that and finally let results catch up?

I used to get so caught up in the things I didn’t do.
Missed a session. Ate differently than planned. Ran out of time.
And in my head, that was it the week was done.

What I didn’t realise back then is how much power I was giving that internal voice. The one that zooms in on one moment and lets it define everything else.

Now, when that thought shows up, I slow myself down. I remind myself that a week isn’t a pass or fail test. It’s a collection of choices and I’m still allowed to make a better one next time.

Consistency doesn’t come from being perfect. It comes from not spiralling when things aren’t. From choosing not to punish yourself for being human. From adjusting instead of quitting.

I’ve learned that you can make the change in how you interpret the situation. You can talk yourself into staying stuck, replaying what went wrong or you can adapt, reset your focus, and keep moving closer to what you actually want.

Same week. Same reality.
But a mindset that levels you up instead of holding you back.

And that’s where progress really comes from.

The cost of letting the number on the scale dictate your progress 👇

For high achievers the scale often becomes more than a tool , it becomes a scoreboard.
And when it doesn’t reflect your effort you question your discipline, your methods and even your worth.

Progress is defined by what’s changing in you.
Your strength, your energy, your confidence, your control around food, your consistency.

When you let the scale dictate your emotions..

👉🏼 You dismiss the progress you can’t see yet.
👉🏼 You act from frustration instead of logic.
👉🏼 You attach your success to an outcome, not your effort.
👉🏼 You risk undoing weeks of hard work just to “fix” a number that didn’t need fixing.

If you’re the person who gives 110% at work, you already know success doesn’t happen overnight.

Your body works the same way. The scale might not always read the way you want it to, but your reflection, your clothes and your mindset are the true reflection of your efforts.

You can have the perfect plan on paper. The workouts, the meals and the schedule..

But if the voice in your head is constantly saying, “you’re failing” or “you’ll never get there,” it’s like trying to drive with the handbrake on.

I’m saying this because I get it and I’ve been there too.
I’ve had days where I’ve told myself I’m not doing enough, or that I’ll never look how I want to.

No suprise that on those days, I acted exactly like the version of me I didn’t want to be.

What I’ve realized recently…

Those little sentences might feel harmless in the moment, but they build up, and before you know it, your actions start to reflect what you keep telling yourself.

The truth here is the way you speak to yourself matters.

If your internal dialogue is full of negativity and “I can’t”

It’s going to keep you stuck, no matter how disciplined you are at work or how many tasks you can juggle in a day.

What can you do?

Start catching those thoughts and asking yourself, “Would I speak to my best friend this way?”

Because when you change the way you talk to yourself, your actions follow, and so will the results👊🏼

Every coach has a beginning. This was mine…

I didn’t always love training.
And I definitely didn’t have it all figured out.

There was a time I used to walk into the gym and feel completely out of place.

I stuck to group classes because I didn’t know what else to do.

I followed random plans.
I tried every diet I could find online.

I was doing something all the time, but never really getting anywhere.

I wasted a lot of money and mentally I was exhausted.

Trying so hard but nothing made a real impact.

But I kept going.

I learned. I messed up. I learned again.

And somewhere along the way, things started to change.

Not just my body.
But how I saw myself.

How I trained.
How I ate.
How I lived.

That’s why I do what I do now.

Because I know exactly how it feels to be stuck, trying, and not getting results.

And I also know what’s possible when you finally find what works for you.

If you’re in that phase where nothing seems to stick

Just know, you just haven’t been shown a better way yet.

This is what I love to see!

Women succeeding in their efforts to step into a new found identity.

It takes guts to admit to yourself that something needs to change and take action and go after making that change.

We all want that fat gone NOW.
Realistically, it takes action, managing expectations and it takes timeeee.

A good couple of weeks is spent finding your feet and navigating how new habits can be formed and slipped into the way you run your current lifestyle.

Some things have to change and other things can still stay when you learn how to make it all work together.

Education and guidance and the willingness to learn and adapt is what will carry you forward to achieving the physique you’ve always dreamed of.

It’s an ongoing learning process but for sure!…You will learn when you open yourself up to it.
