UP Mahotsav, held on 25 January at B-Hub, was a celebration that brought alive the history, culture, and traditions of Uttar Pradesh. Our artists added grace and depth to the occasion, making it truly memorable for the audience. Poets, journalists, writers, dancers, musicians, and art enthusiasts from diverse fields gathered to witness the performances. Through Thumri, Tarana, and a soulful Bandish on rain, the audience was gently wrapped in a timeless, traditional tapestry of art.

This year marks the 16th edition of Dancing Divas and the 19th year of Gurukul’s presence in Dubai.
And who better to honour on such a momentous occasion than Nawab Wajid Ali Shah — a visionary whose passion and artistry have left an indelible mark on Kathak.
Our 2025 production celebrates the life and times of this extraordinary personality through the timeless language of dance.
A heartfelt thank you to GEMS Modern Academy for once again supporting us in our endeavour to promote Indian Classical Dance and Culture.

20 mins - Yoga
60 mins - Art & Craft
40 mins - Kathak/Choreography

One choreography would be taught during these 5 sessions in 2hrs and the kids can perform this at school or personal events.
