I’ve been pretty quiet the last few weeks because honestly… I haven’t really known what to say.

Making it to my 4th Olympic Games is something I’m incredibly proud of. To be the only snowboard cross athlete to have ever achieved that, especially after literally shattering my foot, basically competing on one foot is something that means a lot to me. There were moments 10 months ago where people were calling it career-ending. I refused to accept that.

This one took everything.

To my friends, partners and family, thank you. For the belief, the patience, the late-night calls, the tough conversations, the travel, the sacrifices. None of this happens without you.

There’s a lot more to this journey than what’s been seen publicly sadly. A lot that tested me in ways far beyond competition. Those conversations will happen, but right now isn’t the moment.

What I will say is this: no matter how hard people try to disadvantage you, if you stay steady and keep showing up, things have a way of balancing out and karma will come.

Two photos, 10 months apart. What many called a career-ending injury, I refused to accept with just 10 months until the Olympics.

I got back in the gate after only four days of training and qualified for my fourth Olympic Games.

Only a select few believed this was possible. Plenty of people tried to hurt my chances — but I’m back.
