CELEBRATING NEPALESE CRICKET EVENT IN THE UAE 🇦🇪
On behalf of Nepal Everest Wolves Cricket Club- U.A.E, we extend our sincere appreciation to the United Arab Emirates Nepalese Cricket Association for successfully organizing such a prestigious community cricket event in the UAE, held on 29–30 August 2026 at the Jordanian Social Club, UAE.
The championship was more than just a cricket tournament, it was a proud gathering of the Nepalese community.
Emerging entrepreneurs, sports enthusiasts, business owners, social workers, community leaders, Media houses, Digital content creators/social media influencers and representatives from various professional and business organizations came together to witness and support Nepalese cricket.
Most importantly, this Box Cricket Championship created a valuable platform for Nepalese cricketing talent in the UAE to showcase their abilities, gain exposure, and take another step toward competing on bigger stages.
The tournament featured many established and rising Nepalese cricket talents from the UAE, including Bibek Budhathoki, Santosh Gurung, Milan Karki, Saurav Bhurtel, Bikash Sharma, Laxman Dumre (Everest Express), Kabiraj Parajuli, Anand Shrestha, Raju Bhusal, along with emerging talents Asab Hussain, Reyan Hussain, Dilip Chettri, Avash Matho, Begam Pun, Chitra Magar, Madan Kathiwadi, Kiran, Aditya, Anil, Rajiv, Devendra, and many more.
And the journey does not end with the tournament.
During the championship, Nepal Everest Wolves Cricket Club shortlisted several promising new talents who caught our attention with their potential and performances. They will soon be invited to our net sessions, where our technical team will provide them with opportunities to train, develop their skills, and prepare for bigger competitive stages in the UAE (C, C+ & B Division leagues).
“There is a lot of hidden Nepalese cricketing talent in the UAE. Our responsibility is not only to identify them, but also to give them the right platform, training and opportunities to grow and compete at a higher level”, said by Mr. Indra Thapa, Founder of Nepal Everest Wolves Cricket Club during this tournament.
A huge thank you once again to UAE Nepalese Cricket Association, all participating teams, players, organizers, supporters, sponsors, community leaders, and everyone who contributed to making this championship a memorable celebration of Nepalese unity, community and cricket in the UAE.
