"Who is a sádhu?

Pránáh yathátmano’bhiiśt́ah bhútánám api te tathá;
Átmaopamyena bhutánáḿ dayáḿ kurvanti sádhavah.

“Every living being’s own life is the dearest life to that being. Just as my own life is dear to me, so is the life of others dear to them. One who knows the truth and looks at others as one’s own, and has feelings of sympathy and kindness for them, is a sádhu.” This type of person is born on earth in order to render selfless service to humanity.

Paritráńáya sádhúnáḿ vinásháya ca duśkrtám;
Dharmasaḿsthápanártháya sambhavámi yuge yuge.(3)

I agree with atheist materialists who deny God is a "guy in the sky," purely externalized, remote divine force that rewards and punishes according to its whim without rhyme or reason. Where I diverge is that one goes too far who says, "Thereby, there is no divine force at all." Indeed, the world's esoteric traditions hold that God is not to be found outside the human I, but within it, as says, "Search your I-feeling and you will find the Great," and as Rudolf Steiner says, "Within the earthly human lies a high human waiting to be awakened." That lesser, dogmatically religious minds have not penetrated this truth and have conveyed a version of religion that misses the point does not mean there is no spiritual world. It's just that as long as one is placing it entirely outside the I, they can never confirm it for themselves.
Always sing the kiirtana to the Lord , meditat and always seek the reason for your existence, and don't place artificial limits on your mind. Be human.
