Drill Sequence
Player A (passer) has the ball at the top.
Player B (cutter) starts on the weak side, then makes a hard cut toward the basket.
As B cuts, Player A passes with their left hand (one-hand push or bounce pass).
Player B catches on the move and finishes with a right-hand layup.
Rotate roles after each rep.
Coaching Points
Emphasize strong, accurate left-hand passes.
The cutter should show hands and cut hard to the rim.
The layup should be under control eyes on the rim, correct footwork (left-right plant for right-hand finish).
Optionally add a defender or cone later to simulate game pressure.
Progression Ideas
Add a bounce pass variation,
Require the passer to take one dribble before passing.
Finish with weak-hand layup instead.
