1 Day League Basketball Tournament (game for a cause)
November 09, 2025. SUNDAY (5pm onwards)
PARA SA MGA KABABAYAN NATIN NA NASALANTA NG BAGYO SA PILIPINAS.
📝Mechanics
Team composition
📌Each team must contains of 5 to 10 players (5 on the court, 5 substitute).
📌No roster changes allowed once the tournament has begun.
📌 15 aed per player
Game Format:
📌The tournament will follow a single elimination round format.
📌Each game will consist of 2 Quarter of 15 minutes (running time).
📌A 1 Minute halftime break will be observed.
Gameplay Rules:
📌Standard basketball rules will apply.
📌Personal fouls: A player is disqualified after 5 fouls.
📌Team fouls: Bonus/Free throws apply after 5 fouls per half.
📌Shot clock and time violations will be enforced.
Tiebreaker:
📌if a game ends in a tie, there will be a 2-minutes overtime.
📌if still tied, the game will go to sudden death (first team to score wins).
Uniforms:
📌teams must wear coordinated jerseys or shirts with visible player numbers.
📌A coin toss will decide which team changes if both wear similar colors.
📌All referees decisions are final and non-contestable.
General guidelines
📌All palyers must show respect and sportsmanship at all times.
📌Fighting, Trash talking or deliberate rough play will result in warnings, fouls, or disqualification.
📌Team must be ready 15 minutes before their scheduled games.
📌A 10 minute grace period will be given to late teams before forfeiture.
TEAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN WATER AND TOWELS.
