The SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON GOLF DAY and the SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE
It’s that time again when we welcome our friends back to sunny Antigua, where England will take on the West Indies in the 2nd Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium from January 31 to February 4, 2019.
Sir Richie Richardson is extremely delighted to be hosting the first ever “SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON GOLF DAY” and the “SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE”, once again, during that time.
SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON GOLF DAY
To entertain the high number of avid golfers who will be on island at that time, we have decided to put on an exciting Golf Tournament at the Cedar Valley Golf Course. This will be the first ever “SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON GOLF DAY” and will be held on Wednesday 30th January 2019 from 9am. Sir Richie will be the ‘Pro” on the day and players will have a chance compete against him for special prizes. This tournament is open to both men and women, so get your mates together and make it a fun day. There will be a maximum of 80 players for the event. Please note that you can sign up individually and we will assign you to a team.
The format for the tournament will be a 4-person “scramble” or a 4-person “best ball”, and the overall winning team will receive the “Sir Richie Richardson Cup” and there will be lots of others prizes to be won, including “beat the pro” (closest to the pin) on holes number 2, 8, 11, 13 & 15. There will also be a closest to the line prize on the 18th hole.
The package includes:
● One round of 18 holes greens fee
● One round of 18 holes cart fee
● One set of rental clubs, if needed
● Morning Snack with juice, coffee or tea from 8:30am
● Antiguan style Buffet Lunch
● Two alcohol drinks tickets
● One bottle of water per person at tee time
● Cold face towel at the clubhouse at the end of play
● A drink cart will be available around the course and drink tickets will be accepted

The SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE
For the “SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE”, our esteemed guests will be hosted in the President’s Suite at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, which is ideally situated behind the bowler’s arm with a fantastic view of the stadium.
This package includes:
● Entrance ticket to the stadium and suite
● Morning snacks
● Buffet lunch
● Afternoon tea
● Open bar with premium drinks served throughout the day, and
● Sir Richie will be on hand to sign autographs, take photos and mingle with our guests

Another load of hurricane relief supplies heading down to Dominica tomorrow. A huge thank you to all of the boats that continue to bring supplies from overseas. Thank you to Chris Harris and his crew for delivering the items on his boat, to our donors who have helped to pay for the fuel, to our amazing volunteers for helping to transfer and load the supplies today (in between our trans-Atlantic row boat arrivals), and to Cobra and his team for delivering them to the remote villages that still need them the most. It continues to be a team effort!

Antigua Yachting News: The Super Yacht Industry comes to the rescue Yachts are beginning to make their annual pilgrimage to Antigua and the Caribbean, this time full to the ginnels with aid.

A huge thank you to all who helped this week in sourcing, delivering and loading all of the supplies going to Dominica. The Flying Buzzard is completely full, with an estimated 100 tons + of food, water, tarps, hygene products, kitchen supplies, wheelbarrows, nails, screws, tools etc. The boat should be leaving within the hour and there will be a team waiting in Portsmouth tomorrow morning, ready to distribute it all to the villages that need it the most. Thank you to the crew of Flying Buzzard and to our donor who made it all possible!
