As we look back on Antigua and Barbuda’s campaign at the 2026 ECVA Senior Women’s Championship, we take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Senior Women, who battled their way to the championship final and returned home as ECVA SILVER MEDALISTS! 🥈

Through the highs, the pressure and the hard-fought battles, our ladies represented the 268 with determination, resilience and heart, earning their place among the best in the Eastern Caribbean.

The tournament may be over, but the achievement remains.

ECVA Welcomes Tori-Ann Browne of Antigua, as New Lead Regional Scorer.

As Lead Regional Scorer, Tori-Ann will ensure the accurate recording, management, verification and reporting of all official match scores and statistical information during ECVA competitions. The role supports the Technical Delegate, Referees and Competition Director in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of tournament operations.

Tori-Ann's journey with volleyball began on the business league court, playing for Scotiabank — and she was hooked from the first whistle. That love for the game led her to join Jets Volleyball Club, where she plays middle and to take on management of High Flyerz Volleyball Club.

Her path into the technical side of the sport came through VIS, where she was first introduced to Orson James. From there, her drive to do it all took over — she wanted to be involved in both VIS and scoring and whenever tournaments were short on volunteers, she was always the one available to step in.

That reliability paid off, she was invited to assist Orson at a tournament in St. Kitts and it was there that he and the VIS team put her forward for Lead Scorer. Over the years, working closely with VIS, she learned the ins and outs of taking stats and scoring — experience that ultimately led to her recommendation for this role.

"We're happy to welcome an addition to our team who will help make the work more efficient," said supervisor Orson James.

Tori-Ann shares that enthusiasm: "This is a great opportunity, and I'm looking forward to making the scoring top notch. On the ECVA level, I assist where I can, troubleshoot and resolve any issues and I plan to work closely with the technical team to make every tournament a success."
