From thriving… to bleaching… to recovery 🌿🪸
These elkhorn coral transplants show just how resilient reefs can be when given a chance.
This is what hope looks like underwater.
But it’s also a reminder: reefs are under stress, and recovery isn’t guaranteed.
Every action we take above water matters below it.

🦈✨ Shark & Ray Awareness Day ✨🌊
In Anguilla, our coastal waters are home to species like Caribbean reef sharks, nurse sharks, southern stingrays, and spotted eagle rays — all critical to a healthy marine ecosystem.
Sharks, as apex or near-apex predators, regulate prey populations and help maintain the balance of coral reefs and seagrass beds. Rays, while mesopredators, also play a key role — stirring up sediment, feeding on invertebrates, and contributing to the biodiversity of our benthic ecosystems.
They’re not here to threaten us — they’re indicators of a thriving ocean.
Their presence means our waters are still alive.
By understanding and respecting these animals, we can better protect the reef, the fish we depend on, and the future of Anguilla’s marine life.

🦈🐬 We’re thrilled to share our monthly shark+ report, highlighting the vibrant marine life that makes ’s waters so special.
have inhabited Earth’s waters for longer than 🌴🌳trees have existed on land, and they play a crucial role in maintaining healthy marine ecosystems. As apex predators, they help regulate the balance of the ocean, preventing the collapse of these ecosystems we depend on.
In Anguilla, we’re only beginning to understand the diversity and habits of our local sharks. These encounters highlight the beauty and diversity of marine life here in Anguilla and remind us why protecting our oceans is so important.

🌊 Have you seen the concrete table and chair donated to us from LIT Lounge AXA at the shipwreck of the Kathlee H.? ⚓️ This unique underwater feature not only enhances the dive experience but also supports coral growth and provides shelter for marine life. It’s a great example of how thoughtful contributions can make a lasting impact on Anguilla’s marine ecosystem! 🐠🌱
