We (the Faheys) are preparing to deploy to Tirana, Albania for a min of 3 years and will serve at a Christ-centered ministry called The Stephen Center.
Gerry and Jen Fahey are excited to come alongside Foursquare missionaries Chris and Laura Dakas to help with the empowering, gospel-advancing ministry at The Stephen Center in the mostly Muslim country of Albania. The Faheys met as kids at church and both grew up to eventually becoming involved in many ministries from the worship team to young adults groups and discipleship bible studies. In 2012

Sights and sounds in Tirana today. We hear this music from our window often 😊
Gideon's teacher had tears in her eyes when she told me about what he shared at school today. He explained that the Syrian refugee children don't have anything and so daddy is in Greece giving them clothes and shoes. Gideon also said he would give them some of his toys. He ended with, "we give them things but we give them love too."
Moments like this make the hard parenting times so very worth it.

It was wonderful having mom here! We had a lot of fun. Gideon loved waking up grandma every morning. Luckily she loved it too :)

Our first newsletter from the field!
Fahey Albania Update After talking and praying and planning for so long, we were met with big hugs by Chris and Laura Dakas at the airport in Washington DC and now we’re finally in Albania! We have already made some expat friends who are happy to show us the ins and outs of settling in Tirana and we’ve found some wonder...
