The 4th cycle for the FIDE School Award applications is officially open! 🌍

With 2026 declared by FIDE as the Year of Chess in Education, now is the perfect time to continue spotlighting and recognizing those schools that use educational chess to uplift schools, bring communities together, and empower children.

🗓️ Deadline: June 30, 2026
🌐 Languages accepted: English, Spanish, Russian & Arabic

Any school—big or small—that makes a difference through chess is encouraged to apply. We’re looking for schools that:
✅ Use chess as a force for good
✅ Maximize the resources they have
✅ Engage their community through chess
✅ Promote interdisciplinary learning and 21st-century skills

🏅 Winning schools receive worldwide recognition from FIDE and exciting prizes that enhance school chess programs, including access to LogiqBoard, ChessKid, FIDE Preparation of Teachers (PoT) Courses, LearningChess, and Notationary.
