Fremont Middle School Athletics

Winter 2 sports start tomorrow. In order to practice, a sports physical needs to be in the office and all Final Forms must be completed.

Practice times are:
7th/8th grade girls basketball after school until 4:30
5th/6th girls basketball is 4:30 to 6:30.
Wrestling is after school.
If you have questions call the school Monday or reach out to your coaches.

Both the 7th and 8th Grade Teams lost against Angola on Thursday. Both teams fought hard, 7th Grade kept it close, but fell short in the end.

The 5th Grade Team also defeated Angola on Thursday 16-9.

On Tuesday, the 5th and 6th Grade Boys both defeated Lakewood Park.

5th Grade won 31-14. Led by Jayce Happ with 8 pts.

6th Grade won 25-16. Led by Trenton Masters with 8 pts.

As a reminder tonight's games against Angola will start at 5:00.
7th and 8th are at home 5th/6th are at Angola

5th and 6th Grade Boys Basketball Teams both defeated Hamilton last night. 6th Grade won 38-10, led by Mac Holmes with 10 pts.

5th Grade won 25-4. 8 boys contributed in the scoring!

After being down 16 points in the 3rd quarter the 8th grade BB team won 38-37 in OT on the road against the Hamilton Marines. Kash Pillitiere had 14 points in the fourth quarter. Great job men

Three FMS cheerleaders will perform Wednesday, November 27th in Orlando Florida, on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, along with other Junior high All American dancers and cheerleaders from across the country!!!

This week's Athlete of the Week is Mylee Spillman. Mylee consistently shows up with a positive attitude and demonstrates teamwork, motivation, and respect for others. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to cheer on the team!

Parents of 7/8 grade boys basketball players tonight's game at Busco will be played in the main gym. Please use door #5 to enter the building.

Due to the awards banquet tonight, 7/8 practice will end at 545.

A few important things to remind parents of.

1. Boys Basketball practice will start on Monday October 21st. In order to practice students must have a physical in the office and have Final Forms complete.

2. Fall Sports Awards will be Tuesday October 22nd at 6:30 at the Middle School. This includes Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Cheer.

3. All laundry soap orders and money are due October 22nd.

4. All Winter athletes will have a mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday October 23rd at the High School at 6:30. This includes Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling and Cheer.
