Argentina Superstitions: ⛈️ Edition

With all this super El Niño talk, it sounds like we all have a lot of rain in our future. Maybe it’s time to start sticking all our knives in the ground and burying all the eggs.

Did I get all these right? I have to admit some where new to me when I researched it!

The best pizza in Buenos Aires 🍕

These are my favorite pizzerias in Buenos Aires. You won’t see Güerrin listed here. It IS great, but it gets so crowded these days so let’s share the love, shall we?

These are old school Buenos Aires pizzerias. If you want pizza napolitana or a New York slice then you’re going to have to look elsewhere.

This is where the locals eat.

✨ And if you love these greasy spoon local eateries, then comment GUIDE for a discount and link for my Buenos Aires city map, with 330+ pins for local sites, restaurants, and self-guided walking routes. You can download it for offline wanderings. It’s worth every penny 😉

If you ask any Argentine, they’ll say it’s THE BEST in everything.

Often, they’re right.

Like in the amount of eggs and red meat consumed, in being well read and cultured, mental health awareness and even the biggest dinosaur fossil discovered to date.

Which of these surprised you? Which did I miss?!

Argentina, sos lo mejor que hay. 🇦🇷💙

Don’t move to Argentina, IF...

With this post I feel like a dad asking his daughter’s suiter if they have the right intentions. Do you, young man, plan on moving to Argentina for the right reasons? Will you treat her well?

But the truth is, Argentina is not an easy place to live. You have to really love it, luckily, it’s an easy place to love.

Comment “immigration help” below if you want the details of the best local immigration lawyer so you can move here the right way.

Argentina, a land full of contrasts.

Big cities, from the jungle of Misiones to the rainbow mountains of Jujuy, from snow showing to mountain huts to expansive beaches on the Atlantic.

I love exploring it and still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface.

Spring is just around the corner, so here are my favorite places to go in Argentina this time of year.

Follow me for more Argentina travel advice!

1. Bariloche and the surrounding 7 Lakes Region.
You’ll still have cold nights and mornings but the days are gorgeous and there are no crowds yet!

2. El Bolson
Get the popular trails like Cajon Azul all to yourself when they open mid October and enjoy the beautiful spring blooms along the roadside.

3. Trevelin
The tulip field is open from October 7 through November 7 this year, so plan accordingly and book your accommodation ASAP.

4. Buenos Aires
The city is at its best in November when the jacarandas bloom

5. Iguazu Falls is a great destination year round but shoulder season crowds are always ideal and you beat the peak season summer heat as well

6. Peninsula Valdés
Spring lets you see penguins, southern right whales, elephant seals, sea lions, guanaco, and more all at once.

Tell me in the comments where you’d go this spring and follow me for more travel advice 🇦🇷💙
