Vienna Night Row Dear fellow rowers, Dear audience! An incredible regatta night on Saturday, the 24th of June 2017 is waiting for you! The 1.

Vienna Night Row

Vienna's most spectacular boat race for coxed eights at night on a floodlit regatta course

Organized from the 1. Vienna Rowing Club „LIA“ on the New Danube

The supreme discipline of the rowing sport is the coxed eight. No other boat class is so amazing and so spectacular for the spectators. In countries like Great Britain, Australia or New Zealand, where rowing is one of the most popular sports, the race of the coxed eight is often held at the end of the regatta day because it should be the crowning glory of the whole rowing regatta. Vienna Rowing Club „LIA“ wants to bring this enthusiasm and this atmosphere to Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Wherever you will be – on the water in a rowing boat or on the waterfront in the middle of the crowd – we will be happy to welcome you at the end of June in Vienna for a great regatta night!
