It’s been a busy year managing SA-TID and ArcheryGW, but the past few weeks have been especially full on.
To start, I travelled with Richard Davis Australian Para Athlete to his first international Para tournament in Thailand 🏹 We had great success, achieving our pre-tournament goals. He’s come away with valuable experience and is now ready to step into the next phase of his archery journey.
The following week, the ArcheryGW youth squad competed at the Youth Nationals in Tasmania, where we brought home an impressive 25 medals!

Brock Penna Archery and James Azli have both qualified for the Youth Olympic selection camp later this year!
SA-TID newcomers Sari Wainscott and Adelaide Secombe, who attended their first Youth Nationals and gained valuable experience.
A fantastic set of results and a great reflection of the hard work being put in across the squad 👏

Year after year, this family keeps growing. Thank you for being part of ArcheryGW in 2025. There have been many ups and down but as family we survived and we are stronger for it. Enjoy a well-deserved break, and we’ll see you in 2026!

Happy Birthday to the one and only!
Coach, partner and friend. From the whole team, Thanks for the wisdom, the laughs, and the unwavering support. Here’s to another year of crushing goals and making great memories! 🥳

Congratulations to all the ArcheryGW juniors who competed at the Southern Vale Archery Club for the 2025 Rosney Johns event! 🏹
A full 144-arrow shoot is no easy task, and every single one of you should be incredibly proud of what you achieved. Your dedication, focus, and determination truly shone through on the line today.
Well done to those who won medals — but remember, medals are just a bonus. What really matters is the hard work and countless hours of training you’ve all put in. Your strong scores and steady improvement show exactly what commitment can achieve.
You’ve proved that every session we spend together is worthwhile… and maybe that your coach isn’t too bad either! 😉
Fantastic work, team. We are proud of every one of you!

Today we shot several matches in the matchplay phase of the Australian Open. The team performed well despite the weather conditions, the mental pressure, and their young age. We learned a lot from the experience and we’re ready to head home and keep working to improve even more. Tomorrow, we have a mixed team final to compete in
