2X9 Racing

Last night we raced at Yas Marina.

Ben Hamilton Racing ran solo for the 2x9 team. Most drivers ran a fuel conservation race for the first race, which seemed to be the best strategy. Unfortunately it wasn't what any of us ran. Ben did manage an 8th despite some early issues. He did bounce back for another win in the second race.

The 29 Black guys had the own issues. Justin was running a controller, but still managed some decent pace. Chev had a bit of a disaster with being in the wrong place in a few incidents which ruined both his races, but also getting used to a new wheel and a track he isn't comfortable with.

We have 1 round to go and the 2x9 team sit in second, and Ben is in 3rd for the drivers.

Two nights ago, we headed to Gilles-Villeneuve for the first time with the Domsorl DTC Series.

Aidan showed some great pace again and stood on the podium again for 2X9.

Justin also showed pace and consistency as well and added some good points.

Ben Hamilton Racing and Chev both struggled for consistency. The latter did have some external assistance from other drivers with some of the inconsistency.

2x9 still sits on top of the teams championship with 2 rounds to go.

Last Wednesday the teams hit Spa for the second endurance round of the season.

Ben Hamilton Racing came home with another podium, standing on the third step. Aidan finished up with 12th, but combined, the guys are now on top of the teams championship.

Chev wasn't able to make the round, but Justin did the team proud with a 7th to bank more valuable points.

Bathurst, what a track!

Last night was round 7 of the Domsorl DTC series at arguably the best track.

The teams drove amazingly well, mostly.

The 2x9 drivers gained another bunch of points with Ben Hamilton Racing just missing out on a podium, and Aidan adding another strong, consistent round.

The team is now second in the championship. 💪.

For 29 Black, Justin got his first top 10 of the season in the first race of the night and just missing out on backing it up in the second race. Chevy had a couple spins in race 1, followed by an "encouraged off" in race 2 after a good fight for the first 3 laps.

Last week 2x9 had a great points haul in round 6 at Yamagiwa.

Aidan had a great start and was able to then maintain the lead for a win in race 1.

The team then backed it up in race 2, taking a double podium, this time with Ben Hamilton Racing taking the W and Aidan standing on the third step.

We are still 3rd in the championship, but closing on the leaders.

29 Black had another consistent round getting our heads around the tracks and car.

The boss managed to have his best round to date, with both races in the top ten, while Justin was knocking at the door, and it's only a matter of time to get back in there this season.

Last night Aidan took to the track in the Domsorl Vision X series and got himself another podium.

Even after a spin that damaged his car he was able to bring it home for a 3rd.

Round 5 took us to Fuji.

Aidan unfortunately couldn't make this race, but Ben Hamilton Racing, took up the challenge and scored another podium🥈 in the first race, and backed it up with another 8th in race 2.

The 29 Black guys had a couple small issues but both managed an 11th and 12th each.

It's been a busy time off track, so finally posting last week's results.

The first of 2 endurance rounds for this season was held at Maggiore.

2x9 again banked a decent points haul, with Aidan leading the way for another podium in 3rd and Ben Hamilton Racing finishing in 10th.

29 Black was a one man band with the boss unable to race, but Justin is making moves forward with new equipment to finish 13th.

Round 3 of the Domsorl Gr4 series was raced last night, the 2x9 team again went on the attack for more points.

Ben Hamilton Racing & Aidan, again made some great points. The team sits in 3rd while the guys are 3rd and 5th respectively.

The 29 Black guys both struggled with consistency again, but both showed good speed.

Aidan had an amazing round last night scoring 2 podiums.

First race started wet and dried out as the race continued.

Ben Hamilton Racing banked some solid points, so the team sits in 3rd.

Aidan and Ben also sit 3rd and 4th in the drivers championship.

29 Black drivers Justin and Chev struggled for consistency in both races, but did bank more points for their team.
