God care for you for a lifetime.

Tonight, on my way home from work around 11:30 PM, I witnessed a terrible car accident. The vehicle was completely wrecked and flipped upside down. Seeing that scene shook me and it reminded me just how blessed and fortunate I am to have made it home safely.

It’s not because I’m a better driver or because I always drive carefully. My safety isn’t just in my hands. It’s God’s protection that keeps me safe.

In that moment, a verse from Genesis 7:16 came to mind:

“And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.”

Just like Noah was shut in and protected by the hand of God, I believe God’s hand is still protecting us today, often in ways we’ll never even realize.
