Thank you to everyone who came out to our last open mat session at Westside on the weekend. It was an awesome day and a great way to finish off such an incredible journey. For those of you that don’t know, we had to make the hard decision to shut our beloved club down. There were many factors that led to this decision but it was the right one for our family moving forward. It was always my dream to run my own club. I think we succeeded in creating a wonderful environment for students to learn Jiu Jitsu in. We have made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. From everyday training, to competitions, to club outings. Thanks to everyone in the community who supported us over the last five years. My heart goes out to all those trainers out there busting their guts trying to keep the sport going. It’s not an easy job. I look forward to the future and catching up with you all at various clubs I plan to visit. Much love to you all!! 👊💙
