Looking forward to the next chapter and would like to thank all my supporters, connections and especially the MacDonald Gluyas Racing stable, Leon and Andrew have done a fantastic job along with Molly and their entire team. I have had the pleasure of having Jason stubby Holder as my regular jockey and appreciate all the work you have put in, special thanks also goes to Raquel Clark who in the early days spent lots of time with me and took me to a group 2 victory down the straight at Flemington - a day that will never be forgotten. Hopefully my offspring will give the same joy. Love Dallas ❤️

Leon Macdonald turns to James McDonald for Dalasan return at Flemington Leon Macdonald has engaged the World's Best Jockey for his stable star and will use the same plan to secure another first-up win.

Get to run in my 21st group 1 race today and will be giving it my all. So well prepared by the MacDonald and Gluyas stable and all their staff. It’s great to have Jason stubby Holder on board and am sure we can both combine to make everyone proud. Tracks in great nick and can’t wait until the gates open

Looking forward to running on my home track for the first time in over 18 months.

The Dal is back in action!

DALASAN gets another opportunity at group 1 glory today at Rosehill Gardens as he takes on a good field in The Agency George Ryder stakes!

Pulling up well from his first up effort the team is very excited to see what he can produce as he steps up to 1500 meters. With unfortunate circumstances for Chad Schofield, Nash Rawiller gets the seat as Dal wears #4 and jumps out of Barrier 10!

Back in Adelaide we saddle up SOUTHERN SWOOP, she races in the 4th event wearing #11 with steering!

Today I get to kick off my autumn campaign in the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes with Chad Schofield in the saddle. The MacDonald and Gluyas team has continued there outstanding work and have ticked all the boxes as we progress towards the Doncaster Mile next month. Thanks again to Team Hawkes who are looking after me in Sydney and there is no better stable in Sydney I would rather be. I’m thinking it may be a wet track 😂 in Sydney today but am sure I will be giving it my all.
