We have the privilege of having the last Ring Bowl Club in AUSTRAILA on our doorstep. In a quiet back lane of Glenelg is the Holdfast Bay Ring Bowl Club. The playing green is a square of turf about the size of a backyard, used to be a chook run. The bowls are doughnut-shaped wooden rings that are rolled on their edge on a 15 meter turf rink to a flat disc that is the kitty. Get the kitty inside the ring for top points. Other points are allotted similar to lawn bowls for closeness to the kitty.

No experience needed. Come by the club any Sunday from 11am to learn more, have a try and enjoy lunch with the members. Drinks are only $5 for Beers, Wines, Spirits and soft drinks available too. We provide lunch which is normally a BBQ or something tasty a regular has cooked, for a small $2 donation. 😃😃
