Old Reds are warmly invited to join us for the 2026 PAOCA Annual Dinner, a highlight event bringing together our Old Reds’ community for an evening of connection, conversation, and inspiration.

This year, we are delighted to welcome acclaimed television presenter and journalist Karl Stefanovic as our guest speaker. Karl isn’t just a household name - he’s the voice Australia wakes up to. For more than two decades, Karl has commanded Nine’s Today Show, bringing Australians the stories that shape our world with trademark sharpness, warmth and unshakeable authenticity. A Gold and Silver Logie winner, Karl remains one of the country’s most trusted and magnetic presenters, equally at home grilling world leaders as he is delivering the quick-fire wit audiences adore.

Now, with The Karl Stefanovic Show podcast, he’s stepping into conversation too bold, too honest and too unfiltered for traditional TV. Nothing’s off limits!

It was great to kick off the day with our Old Reds’ Under 40s Breakfast this morning, held in the Air-Touch Gallery of the new Prep School.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, in particular our compère Jack Trengove (2009), and the three panellists Luke Cooney and Chris Harry (2007) and Robbie Smith (2016) who shared their personal and professional journeys.

Following the success of our inaugural Under 40s Breakfast last November, we’re excited to welcome you to our 2026 breakfast next Friday, 15 May. Tickets are just $35 and include a barista coffee on arrival, and a hearty breakfast.

Invitation | RED Centre Open Day & Preparatory School Tours | Saturday 2 May 2026

Old Reds are invited to an open day at the RED Centre this Saturday. The recently completed redevelopment includes the amazing new athletic development space, new ergo and yoga room, AXIS Modern Movement Pilates and two new golf simulators!

The College is also offering two tours of the recently completed Preparatory School.

The RED Centre will be open between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and there will be tours of the Prep School at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm (meet at the Eric Freak Chapel). If you would like to register for a Prep School tour, please email Mary-Ann Standish, E: [email protected] no later than 4:00 pm this Friday.

2026 Wilfred Cooper Scholarship

We were delighted to celebrate this morning, the presentation of the Wilfred Cooper Scholarship to Eric McCauley (2023).

The scholarship, which is presented to an Old Scholar who achieves the highest results in his first year Engineering course at Adelaide University, was proudly presented by Andrew Cooper (2001), continuing the Cooper family’s strong commitment to supporting Old Reds and recognising excellence, dedication, and potential.

Congratulations Eric on this well-deserved achievement. 👏
