Who remebers gorgeous little Eddie from our Maggie x Houston litter last year. I was lucky to recieve an update recently and Eddie is no longer little but a happy big gorgeous boy 💙 his family report that Eddie is very sweet with a calm tempermant and very much loved.

Thought to give this one a share! The Border Collie Club of SA has an amazing raffle currently running as a fundraiser for our national event to be held in 2027. The prizes are amazing 👏 🤩 😍 who wouldnt want a hydrobath that will be shipped to your door.

Cherry x Brodie son

It’s been a busy and rewarding year here, with both Cherry, as my learner dog, and Lucy, as my backup, joining me on my journey through the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Professional Course.

This month, I completed the theory component of the course, with just my practical assessments to come before becoming fully qualified.

Both of my girls have benefited enormously from positive reinforcement training, and it has been wonderful to see the difference that thoughtful, reward-based training can make.

I’ll be taking the knowledge and practical skills I’ve gained through the course forward into the everyday management of my kennel, as well as using them to assist both my own dogs and the dogs and owners I work with.

There is always more to learn when it comes to understanding our dogs, and I’m excited to continue developing my skills and putting everything I’ve learned into practice. 🐾

A huge thank you to Cherry and Lucy for being such willing training partners throughout the journey — I certainly couldn’t have done it without them!
