I have been doing some studies on the importance of gut biom in dogs recently and relooking into commercial foods offerred. Outside of debates of feeding raw vs dry and the benefits of each, I have been trialling the brand Lifewise with my dogs with really good results after other major premium brands I have been using no longer performing as well as hoped with dull coats, lack of energy and in one of our older girl a food allergy symptom.

I can highly recommend the Lifewise Biotic Skin brand that has resulted in glossier coats and even happier disposition in the girls with the Lifewise ocean fish coming in a close second.

The training never stops here. Tonight working on teaching Lucy that sitting outside the kitchen whilst I make dinner is a good thing that results in positive reinforcement. She caught on very quickly.

Last weekend we took Maggie, Brodie and Gemma to the come try sheep herding day. Despite the miserable weather during the day we all had some fun and we got to see young Chet there who did a great job on the sheep. We didnt get too many photos but I snapped this one of Brodie and Chet thoroughly enjoying each others company and wanting to play. Very cute boys.

Bath time for our 💎

Our gorgeous girl Maggie. She is a true character and a very sweet girl. Recently turned 3 years old and the mother of one litter with all her babies doing so well with their families. Maggie has travelled all around Australia with us competing in the show ring, loves playing with toys, crate trained and loves treats.

Love coming home from work to this boy, he really is the kindest soul.

For those torn on whether a girl or boy pup is better, I can highly recommend boys. I adore my girls as well but find the boys to be so loyal and snug.
