This weekend, Volleyball South Australia proudly hosted our Domestic Violence Prevention Round in partnership with Zahra Foundation (TZF), dedicated to supporting women to achieve economic independence and live free from violence.

Across all SAVL Premier matches, the volleyball community came together with purpose. All athletes and coaches wore purple socks throughout the weekend, while the Adelaide Arena saw court markings with purple lines and officials stood in purple to show their support.

Merchandise was also available and sold at the Arena, with all proceeds going to The Zahra Foundation to support their vital work in the community.

TZF also joined us during the livestream commentary, sharing insights into their mission and speaking further about the impact of domestic violence prevention and economic empowerment for women.

A huge thank you to our athletes, officials, volunteers, and spectators for standing with us. Together, we are helping drive awareness and change. 💜

Our match officials swapped their usual blue for Purple, as part of our Domestic Violence Prevention Round today. 💜
