Last week, you may have noticed that I didn't show up in your inbox, and that's because - to be honest with you - I had one of those crazy busy weeks, where some things just had to take a back seat.
More than once I found myself feeling quite overwhelmed and stressed! My mind was racing with a never-ending to-do list and fear of letting others down.
You see our minds react with stress when they believe there is something that could threaten us in the next 30 seconds, however more often than not this threat is simply fear of what other's think or an overwhelming sense of pressure.
The truth is you and I are safe, even though stress and anxiety can make it feel otherwise.
So the best thing we can do is remind ourselves of our safety with my favourite go-to affirmation for stress-relief.
"I allow my mind to relax and be at peace. Clarity and harmony are within me and all around me. All is well."

✨New YouTube Video ✨ As much as I'm all about making time for self-care, the reality is sometimes life is just really busy and self-care can feel like another thing on your to do list.
This is definitely how I've been feeling lately BUT I know how important self-care is for my mental and physical health so I came up with the idea of batch self-care!!
This allows you to practice self-care through everyday moments like showering, getting dressed, driving, cooking, cleaning and even working so you can still look after yourself during those crazy times in life! Plus, they're all super cheap or free so there's no excuses not to try one of these tips out ❤️

Too beautiful not to share 💐
More and more I see that it's the little things in life - like getting random flowers from my boyfriend, enjoying yoga on my balcony, have a great conversation with a friend, getting outside, sketching a new design, cooking a healthy meal - that make me truly happy 😊
While big dreams and goals are great...you know I'm allll about them...it's easy to get so caught up in the end result and not see the joy and happiness in the little things in life.
I've often heard people talk about enjoying the journey....and to be honest I've often felt like f*ck the journey I just want to be where I want to be 😅🤦just so much fire in me! Haha
But through reaching big goals and then realising I want to do more or to do something else, I've realised that not all my happiness can rest on my results.
Small moments of joy and happiness can be found everyday and are not pointless nor do they need to mean less to you ❤️ (plus, they'll give the energy and motivation to keep going for those big goals - it's a win win!!)
I don't know about you...
..but sometimes I've felt like in order to practice self-care and self-love, I needed to be able to afford the best treatments, supplements, courses etc.
However, this couldn't be further from the truth!
You can EASILY practice self-care and boost your self-love through everyday practices.
This stuff ain't just for the rich and famous!
