What an incredible few days we have had, taking 20 students over to Melbourne for some exciting events and workshops 🤩

A DAY
Jazz tech with the one and only , Q&A with who has recently returned from performing in the Moulin Rouge Musical on Broadway , and Commercial with the amazing .antoinette - we loved seeing many familiar faces on the Patrick studios wall - especially Miss

VDF TEACHER CONFERENCE
While our dancers where in the studio Miss Shenayde spent the day in teachers classes , seminars and workshops gaining amazing knowledge from industry professionals

Our students were also lucky enough to see the Beautiful musical “Waitress”

⭐️ SATURDAY / SUNDAY ⭐️

2 DAYS AT VDF
Supporting new artistic director and old scholar in an incredible 2 days of workshops , training , auditions and more - our dancers got to take classes with amazing Australian and international choreographers along with being able to participate in auditions for RWS , Norwegian Cruise line, Joffrey Ballet and Disney.

IGNITE PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE
A night of dance - cheering on current student .charlotte10 who performed with “Spark” opening ensemble , and old scholars and who performed with their current fulltime studios along with many other incredible Fulltime and dance studios

We were also so excited to run into many familiar Adelaide faces and old scholar students and Miss who was filming for the weekend

It was a jam packed few days but we are already excited to plan next years trip 🎉

Huge thank you to for planning the whole weekend - we are very grateful for these awesome opportunities on offer to our dancers ⭐️

As we enter the start of our competition season doubt, worry and fear can all creep into our dancers and our families.

This sport that we all love and commit ourselves to improving at is not easy and while competing can be hard and your dancer may face challenges both in and out of the studio, we remind ourselves why we do this…

Why as parents we pay those expensive fees and we drive all those hours to rehearsals. Why as students we show up to the studio through sickness, injury and fatigue and continue to work our hearts out. Because this sport is so much more than a sport!

This sport teaches resilience, teamwork, passion, commitment, discipline and above all it teaches these dancers to be good people! 🤍

TIDC isn’t just a dance studio, it’s a place of passion, commitment, dreams and joy! 💜
