🏁 Whippets Workshop DH Race Team – 2025 Season Wrap-Up 🏁

What a year it’s been for the Whippets Workshop DH Race Team! Our crew Zak .murphy_, Angus , and Owen hit the tracks hard in the State Series and delivered an incredible season across all 6 rounds.

🔥 Highlights:
• Zak absolutely dominated the U17’s with 5 wins out of 6, an outstanding effort and a testament to his focus and speed.
• Angus and Owen both put in huge performances throughout the series, each earning well-deserved podium finishes in their respective age brackets.

The boys put in the work week after week training, racing, and pushing limits and it all paid off with consistent results and plenty of podium time. 💪

A massive shoutout to the legends in the Whippets Workshop crew for keeping the bikes dialed and race-ready all year long. Couldn’t have done it without you! 🔧👏

Here’s to another year of speed, dirt, and good times on two wheels!

Heinz Stücke wasn’t going on a weekend bike ride — he was leaving to see the whole world.

Back in 1962, at just 22 years old, Heinz left his small town in Germany with no money, no big travel plans, and no return ticket. He sold everything he had, got on his bicycle, and just… kept riding.

He ended up spending over 50 years on the road.

He biked across every continent, visited more than 195 countries (some didn’t even exist when he started!), and faced all kinds of challenges: he caught malaria, got arrested, and even survived getting hit by a truck in South America.

But he never gave up.

He lived simply—sleeping in a tent, cooking his own meals, and paying his way by selling handmade postcards and photo books of his travels.

By the time he finally returned to Germany in the 2010s, Heinz had cycled around 650,000 kilometers, filled 20 passports, and earned a Guinness World Record for the longest bike journey in history.

Heinz Stücke didn’t just travel the world — he became a legend. Proof that you don’t need money or luxury to live a big life… just a bike and a dream.
