Swim Forward is a two-year project that's all about making swimming in SA easier and more sustainable - for the families, the volunteers, the officials, and the clubs that keep it running.

Before we get too far into the work, we want to hear from the people who live it.

We've built three short surveys:
👨‍👩‍👧 If you're a swim parent - tell us about your family's experience with your club and what might make it better
🤝 If you volunteer or officiate - share what's working, what's frustrating, and what would help
🏊 If you're on a club committee - give us the picture of your club's workforce, what's working, and where you need support

Pick the one that fits you (or do more than one). They take 5 to 15 minutes, your responses are confidential, and there's a $50 EFTPOS gift card drawn at random from each survey.

A sizzling start to the short course season this May 🔥

Topping the charts are 10 swimmers smashing 16 records during the month. An incredible start to the season! Congratulations to all swimmers on an outstanding start to the season 👏🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Step inside Government House 🏛️

Walk the public rooms. Wander the gardens. See the rose planted for every Governor in our state's history, the descendant of the Gallipoli Lone Pine, and the beehives that supply the kitchen.

In the Ballroom, you'll find Matthew Flinders' lead coffin plate. His grave was lost for 200 years until a London railway dig uncovered it by accident in 2019 - Her Excellency the Governor brought it home herself. Alongside it: 500-million-year-old fossils from the Flinders Ranges, including Spriggina, the state's official fossil, found 80 years ago this year.

Her Excellency is Patron of SwimmingSA, and we'd love to see our community there.
