We are so very proud to announce that our National Swimmer Michael, has been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 Virtus Swimming Championships, taking place from 20-30 August, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sport Inclusion Australia is pleased to announce the Australian Swimming team for the 2025 Virtus World Swimming Championships in Bangkok.

30 swimmers have been selected across all classes and states and territories except Tasmania and Northern Territory.

Sport Inclusion Australia CEO Robyn Smith is looking forward to seeing a strong performance from the Australians in the pool, not only the experience elite swimmers, but the new swimmers representing their country for the first time.

Head Coach Matt McSorley is looking forward to working with the team. “I am really pleased to be taking such a large team of athletes away, we have a good blend of experienced swimmers as well as the large number of debutants that will take great pride in representing their Nation at the Virtus World Championships.” McSorley said.

The Championships will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 20-30 August,

**Study and play USA & School Sport Australia partnership announcement**

School Sports Australia is delighted to announce a partnership with Australian based USA University scholarship company Study & Play USA (SPUSA)!
With over 20 years' experience educating young Australians about the amazing and often life changing opportunities to pursue sports and study in the USA post high school, SPUSA will provide added educational value at various events on the School Sport Australia calendar.

Study & Play USA Directors Chris & Alexia Bates, are thrilled to have the opportunity to further educate young student-athletes and their families through the partnership.

" Dreams and aspirations start with information and education which is something we are passion about here at SPUSA. This partnership with School Sport Australia provides more student-athletes and their families frees access to more accurate information around this growing pathway," Chris said.

Alexia added, " Many Australians assume that perhaps they may not qualify for these USA opportunities, so we will be providing free information sessions, free academic and athletic assessments for any participant of School Sport Australia events. Many will be pleasantly surprised to know that they may qualify for substantial scholarship opportunities."

SPUSA will be on site this coming week in Bendigo for the prestigious Australian Schools Tennis competition - The Pizzey Cup - an event that Director Chris Bates once competed in as a school student.

FACILITY & GYM OPERATING HOURS:
Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 8:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

WATERSLIDES: Saturday & Sundays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm (except on Public Holidays.)
GYM: Available 24/7 with fob access.
