Spring has sprung in the Adelaide Hills

A photo taken recently at the Launceston Velodrome. Great to see after nearly 20 years since being released. We sold some 800 of the Track Pro. I still have rear drop-outs. Out of seat post clamps but will get a back made in aluminium like the last lot.

2006 & 2007 Uni SA.com AIS Framesets
The white frame is the 2006 made with Easton SC7000 Tube set with full Carbon rear stays with a Carbon Fork. The black frameset is full Carbon finished in Uni. It is Matt King's frameset. I do not know who rode the 2006 Frameset. The 2006 Frameset is the rarest of the two and is a 550mm top tube. The Team Issue is a 570 Top Tube
I am considering doing a Tribute Frameset of the most popular vote finished exactly as used in 2006 or 2007. I already have a 10Spd Dura Ace Group Set and will be spec'd in the same wheelset and accessories. My challenge is I do not know which frameset to build up. So, let's see your vote.
I propose to auction the most popular vote with all the funds going to assist the commencement of the design of a Tandem frameset that I would like to be available for the Visually Impaired and be available for the 2028 Olympics.

MERCURY PRO CYCLING TEAM 1999 - 2001
IN 1999 TESCHNER was still bring operated as a part time business under the Ti Sports brand.

My full time job at that time was Regional Tourism Manager - Tourism Holiday Coast in Coffs Harbour looking after three (3) Councils - Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca. I had previously been Tourism Manager in Byron Bay for four years.

By 1999 I always had a back log of up to 10-15 custom builds so I decided to resign and build full time.

Within 2 weeks of starting full time I had a request in from FUJI USA (Steve Fairchild) looking to build the Team Issue framesets for Mercury Pro Team plus an order for production FUJI Team Issue framesets. This again was through connection with John Harrington at Easton Sports. Thank you again John.

The Mercury framesets were all individually custom made specifically to fit each rider. Easton Sports supplied all the tube sets and forks for the bike frames. The other connection in this story was Rob Gitelis ( now FACTOR). In 1999 Rob supplied the carbon seat stays for the frames.

All up I believe we made about 500 frames split about 40/60. The FUJI Team Issue for Mercury all had Handcrated by Ti Sports Australia low down on the seat tube with the serial # bearing the initials of the rider under the BB Shell. The FUJI production framesets just had Handcrafted in Australia.
