UPDATE: TRIP POSTPONED
Due to unforseen circumstances, this trip has sadly been postponed.
Keep an eye out for updates in the future.
Mt Ive Station/Lake Gairdner
Meeting at Dublin General store,
Are you interested in seeing some of South Australia's stunning outback by 4WD, with a private access viewing of Lake Gairdner, abundant birdlife, and lots of time to socialize with like minded people?
Then why not join us for a "long weekend" in May?
There will be 4WD'ing on a range of easy/moderate tracks
A sunset viewing at the Lake
A camp oven cook-off (for those interested in participating)
Maybe even a social drink or 2 around the campfire. 😉
Its approximately 1000km round trip, (not including the 4wd tracks on the property.)
Fuel is "technically" available at Mt Ive, but given the current situation, it's recommended to make sure you fill up in Port Augusta.
A range of accommodation options available for all tastes.
Powered/unpowered/cabins
so bring your swag/tent/caravan...whatever floats your boat!
Message for more details, or come along to our next meeting, and meet some of our friendly club members.

Gday members and visitors, the proposed Deep Creek trip on Feb 22/23rd has been cancelled, replaced with a trip to Frank Potts Reserve at Langhorne Creek .
You cant book a site so first in best dressed.
The reserve is well maintained with plenty of shade however no powered or water to the sites. The reserve does have a bio cycle toilet.
It will be a relaxing weekend visiting a winery or two :) sorry, no 4wding.
Trip Leader Neil Tait
Registration via website will be set up shortly
Frank Potts Reserve
Frank Potts Reserve provides weary travellers an ideal spot to rest up and re-energise. It is a nice, shady spot next to the flowing Bremer River, and is also close to the centre of town.
