❤️ This week Adelaide Harriers sadly said goodbye to our stalwart president, Fran Marsh.

Fran’s children, Billie and Lennox, are also great Harriers athletes, supporters and helpers, and her partner Will has been heavily involved with the rest of the family.

It is hard to articulate just how much volunteer work Fran has done for Adelaide Harriers over the past seven years, and five as president.
Even when she took a year out of Adelaide to live overseas, she was still working away in the background. Whether it be managing registrations, setting up meets, shopping for the canteen, liaising with SALAA, volunteering all day at state events, sending out newsletters, attending every training, managing the equipment, picking up bananas, and just being able to answer every question and knowing every system, Fran has done it all and for that we are very grateful.

❤️On behalf of everyone in the club, thank you Fran (and Will, Billie and Lennox) for everything you have done to keep our centre thriving over many years.
Kids sport doesn’t happen without huge sacrifices by dedicated volunteers like Fran.

❤️Fran has gone above and beyond in not just the summer season but also the winter cross country season, always with a smile and plenty of encouragement for our athletes and coaches, which has created the wonderful community atmosphere we have at Adelaide Harriers.
