BREAKING: South Australia has broken a 29-year Sheffield Shield drought, pulling off the highest fourth-innings run chase in Shield final history to lift the elusive title.

SA chased down 270 runs in its four-wicket victory against Queensland in front of a home crowd at Karen Rolton Oval.

It is the team’s first-ever domestic title double.
