Sakura Netball Club

🌸 EVERY POSITION. EVERY PLAYER. ONE TEAM. 🌸

From GS to GK and every position in between, each role brings something different to the court.

Different strengths, different skills and different ways to contribute.
Netball is at its best when players work together, support their teammates and play their part.

At Sakura, we encourage our players to learn, grow, have a go, build confidence and enjoy their netball.

Because a great team isn’t made up of seven players doing the same thing, it’s seven players bringing their own strengths together.

Learn your position/s, Back your teammates. Play as one.

🌸Happy Father’s Day from Sakura Netball Club🌸

Today we celebrate all the incredible father figures who stand in our corner ~ the dads, stepdads, foster dads, adoptive dads, grandads, uncles, brothers, guardians, mentors, coaches, and every person who has stepped up to provide the love, guidance and support of a father.

Family comes in many different forms, and today is about recognising those special people who encourage us, believe in us, cheer from the sidelines, pick us up when things get tough, and help us become the best versions of ourselves.

We also recognise that Father’s Day can bring mixed emotions for many. We’re thinking of those remembering a dad or father figure who is no longer here, those separated by distance or circumstance, and anyone for whom today may feel a little different.💗

From everyone at Sakura Netball Club, thank you for always being in our corner.

🌸 Happy Father’s Day! 🌸

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love this game.

We are so incredibly proud of our team. We came up against some tough opposition throughout the day, and every match challenged us to dig a little deeper. Through determination, teamwork, and plenty of heart, our girls remained undefeated, completed a clean sweep, and finished the day by taking home the grand final win.🥇🌸

A huge thank you to every opposition team for the competitive and respectful games.🫶🏻
Thank you also to the umpires for your time and dedication, and to all of our supporters who cheered us on from the sidelines.
Your encouragement means the world.✨

Most of all, thank you to our incredible players and coach.
You gave everything you had, fought with heart from the first whistle to the last, and showed what it truly means to play for each other. We couldn’t be prouder of the courage, resilience, and sportsmanship you all displayed all day.

Well done ladies, a great win!🖤🩷🤍
