We've had a couple of good local trips out of Glenelg recently - when the weather allowed it.

Dear Customers,

With the sudden and significant increase in fuel prices, we’ve had to make an adjustment to our per‑head charter costs for all new bookings effective immediately. We’ve held off for as long as possible, but the recent spike has made it unavoidable. If fuel prices return to a more normal level, we will review this increase straight away.

Thank you so much for your understanding — it’s a tough time for everyone, including charter operators, business owners and you, our customers.

Over the past few years we’ve weathered quite a bit: the Snapper Ban, the algal bloom, and now sharply rising fuel costs. We truly appreciate your continued support through it all.

We had a fun day out a week ago locally with a few nice whiting coming over the side, accompanied by leatherjacket, silver drummer and some slimeys which are always great fun on the hook.

The big 'ting measured 47cm!!!! A good catch locally.

This initiative was launched to support coastal businesses impacted by the persistent algal bloom affecting our gulf and local waters over the past eight+ months. While the campaign has been welcomed support for operators, the environmental challenges continue to affect our trade and livelihoods.

We ask for your patience if your chosen day doesn't go ahead as bookings are not as they usually would be at this time of year and we do need minimum numbers to make the trips viable for us. We will work with you if your date needs to be moved.

Mark is also having to pick up external work to help get us through these challenging times, so we have had to block some days out.

We have had a couple of charters out locally in the last few weeks and there are signs of improvement.
