Penneshaw Pistons Basketball Club

22/10/2026

Wednesday was another night of ‘Debuts’ for the with our B Grade men & U/17 Girls having played their first ever matches for the Pistons.

The 17’s are a newly formed team with loads of potential, heart and determination. While they didnt get their first win, it looks to be an exciting season ahead for the girls.

Next up - our B men. It’s absolutely amazing to think this team spands across 5, yes 5 different decades including 3 father & son combos!!

With a loud & excited crowd on the sidelines, the boys didn’t disappoint with the occasional theatrics throughout the match along with promising signs of talent and skill among the team.

Reels;

1. Mick with his theatrics - having never played a game of basketball before, he thought he was LeBron shooting his layup. Loved it!

2. Young Sam scored 2 x 3 pointers for the match which kept the team & crowd happy and wanting to see more!

As always we thank all our sponsors and a special mention to our B Grade Men & U/17girls naming sponsors
