The GSSSSA Senior Volleyball Carnival was absolute fire this year! The energy on the courts was unmatched, with every team leaving it all on the floor in some of the most hotly contested matches we’ve seen yet.
A massive shoutout to every athlete who competed—the hustle and sportsmanship were next level! 🙌
Huge congratulations to our 2026 podium finishers:
🥇 Albany Senior High School – Taking the crown in BOTH the Girls and Boys leagues! An incredible double-championship performance. 🏆🏆
🥈 North Albany Senior High School – Girls League Runners-Up after a brilliant tournament run.
🥈 Great Southern Grammar – Boys League Runners-Up for a fantastic showing in the finals.

Hey squad! Just a friendly nudge for those who haven’t registered with their teams and grabbed their VWA Gold Membership for the season – let’s get that sorted before the first game of the season.

Massive turnout to GSG tonight at AVA’s last open training before the season starts. Almost 60 people came down to sweat and sharpen their skills for next week’s games. Well done to all the regulars and newcomers, and a big thank you to GSG for accomodating us!
